Development Process

To ensure that our design and development is rapid, high quality as well as “right first time” we follow a formal product development methodology. Projects vary in complexity, duration and effort required. We adapt our methodology to suit the individual project while ensuring the project objectives are met. At a minimum a functional specification is prepared prior to design (technical uncertainties are removed at the initial stage using proof of concept breadboards). The functional specification is then the basis to which the system or project is designed and tested to ensure that it meets the objectives.

Development Tools

As part of our “right first time” attitude, Dunn Engineering makes extensive use of project planning, simulation, CAD, firmware and software development tools to speed up development and reduce time and cost issues related to re-spinning projects.

In addition to the above software tools Dunn Engineering has a well equipped lab for electronic and electrical troubleshooting, testing and PCB rework.
